T.R. Miller built a 22-0 lead at half time and didn’t slow down as the Tigers beat Opp 22-7 Friday night at Channell-Lee Stadium.

TRM scored early in the first quarter on a 64-yard touchdown pass to go ahead 7-0 at the 7:36 mark.

The Bobcats held the Tigers for the rest of the first quarter.

However, TRM scored its second touchdown on a 12-yard scamper. Opp committed a penalty on the extra points attempt, which gave the Tigers their two points to go ahead 15-0 with 11:44 left in the first half.

The Tigers scored their final TD of the game with 8:26 left in the second quarter on a 1-yard run.

The game was still 22-0 after the third quarter.

Opp managed to put points on the board in the fourth quarter on a 2-yard TD rush from Ty White with 9:59 left in the game.

OHS (1-1, 0-1 in Class 3A, Region 1) visits Bayside Academy next week in region play.
