Missing man found safePublished 12:00am Wednesday, October 16, 2013
A missing Crestview, Fla., man, reportedly spotted in Andalusia after going missing at the end of August, has been found.
Family contacted The Star-News via Facebook and reported that 25-year-old Brett Stephen Henley had been located.
Henley, who’d not been heard from since Aug. 23, was located at a home on Blue Bird Lane in Crestview, Fla., on Oct. 12, a spokesman from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
“According to the report, he stated that he never had any intention to harm himself, and that everything was OK,” the spokesman said.
The search for Henley extended to Andalusia after local residents reported seeing Henley’s white 2008 Chevrolet Silverado with a Florida license plate around town.
It is unclear if Henley returned home after reading about the plea for his safe return.
