HOWARD T. PIERCE

Howard T. Pierce, 92, of Andalusia, passed away on Tues., Oct. 15, 2013, at Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Fri., Oct. 18, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Fred Karthaus officiating and interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Survivors include his sisters, Dolly Laney of Montgomery and Earnestine Sexton of Gurley; brothers, Roy Pierce of Jonesboro, Ga., and Ned Pierce of Gainesville, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Clark Jr., David Clark, Mitchell Clark, Benjamin Clark, Dallas Merritt and Kevin Price.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Baracca Class of First Baptist Church.

MARY BLACKMON SPENCER

Mary Blackmon Spencer, 93, of Dahlia Dr. in Andalusia, died on Thurs., Oct. 17, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Sat., Oct. 19, at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating and interment following at Stone Lake Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 at Foreman’s and at the church one hour prior to services.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Larry) Adams of Andalusia; grandchildren, Sheldon (Alana) Adams of Greeley, Colo., and Timothy (Stephanie) Adams of Montgomery; and great-grandchildren, Jason Adams, Lucus Adams and Spencer Adams.

Memorials may be made to Comfort Care Hospice.
