PowerSouth Energy’s 2014 Resolution 5K Run/Walk will be held Sat., Jan. 11, at 9 a.m.

Participants should be at the starting line at 8:45 am. for the start.

Registration forms can be found online at www.active.com and www.runningintheusa.com. A form, which is on www.andalusiastarnews.com, can also be returned to PowerSouth c/o Diane Howell, P.O. Box 550, Andalusia, AL 36420.

Cost is $25 for participants ages 13 or older. Cost is $20 for participants aged 12 or younger.

Race day registration/check in is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at Andalusia City Hall.

Pre-registration is until Jan. 3, which each participant is assured a long sleeve T-shirt.

Prizes will be given to the first place overall male and female finishers, along with the first place male and female from each age division. Door prizes will be given out during the awards ceremony. Prizes award and winners will be announced in the Andalusia City Hall Auditorium.

The race starts at city hall.

All proceeds from the race go to the American Cancer Society.

The race is hosted by PowerSouth’s Relay for Life Team and its sponsors.
