The South Alabama Regional Airport along with the City of Opp Fire Department will have a remembrance ceremony for fire fighter Jonathan Burgess at 5 p.m. on Wed., Jan. 8, 2014, in the airport terminal building (Hwy. 84 entrance).

Burgess passed away on Jan. 8, 2013, at the South Alabama Regional Airport from health complications. Firefighter Burgess was employed by the South Alabama Regional Airport and the City of Opp. Please join us as we remember this fine man that meant so much to all of us.

Due to the weather the program will be held indoors.
