There is still time remaining to get a ticket to Thursday’s Andalusia Chamber of Commerce banquet.

Heather Murphy, chamber administrative assistant, said 100 tickets are available for the night’s events.

The Distinguished Service Award, President’s Award, Business of the Year Awards, Teachers of the Year, Student of the Year and other prominent community awards will also be presented.

Tickets may be purchased at the Chamber office located at 700 River Falls Street.  The cost will be $30 for Chamber members and $35 for non-chamber members and $20 for students.

John Croyle, a motivational speaker who was a defensive end for the University of Alabama’s 1973 National Championship football team, playing for the legendary Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant, will be the keynote speaker.

The banquet is set for 6:30 p.m. on Thurs., Jan. 23, at the Kiwanis Community Center on the South Bypass. Dinner will be served promptly at 6:30.
