Stallworth hits game-winner, lifts RLS boys

Spencer Stallworth made a jump shot from right inside the free throw line with under a second left to help lift Red Level to a 34-32 area victory over McKenzie on Thursday night.

Stallworth also led RLS with 18 points. Jeffery Perdue chipped in 7 points, and William Crawford had six.

The game was tied 4-4 after the first period, and RLS took a 16-11 lead into halftime. The Tigers led 24-21 going into the fourth period.

In girls action, Red Level won 43-25.

Shelby Holley got in a double double 12 points and 10 rebounds, along with 6 steals. Kayla Hinson scored 19, and Hannah Colvin almost got a double double, too, but chipped in 8 points with 9 rebounds.

The Lady Tigers improve to 7-14 overall, and 3-3 in Class 1A, Area 3.
