Andalusia’s own rock-star nerd, Buford T. Nerdley, returned to the Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club’s Red Garter Review last night, as did the ever-popular Ritz Crackers, below. When emcee Ruck Ashworth taught Buford the proper pronunciation of “bayou,” as in the theme,

“Down on the Bayou,” with a “silent ‘u,’ never heard, silent, takes up space,” Buford said, “It reminds me of the city council.” The show will go on again tonight at 7 p.m. at LBW Community College.
