JOHN SHELBY DEE

John Shelby Dee, 71, of Opp died Fri., Feb. 7, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Mon., Feb. 10 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Opp City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sun., Feb. 9 from 6 until 8 p.m. Randy Breedlove will be officiating.

Dee is survived by his wife, Susan Eiland Dee; daughter Terri (Tony) Speegle; son John (Chasity) Dee; sister Laura (Bill) Wood; and grandchildren, Shelby Speegle, Susanna Speegle, Dylan Dee, Jenna Dee and John Tyler Dee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and John Dee.

Serving as pallbearers will be Copeland Wood, Jeff Zorn, Patrick Weeks, Brad Cassady, Trey Eiland and Parker Eiland.

ARTHUR HENRY LITTLE

Arthur Henry Little, 70, a resident of Greenville, Ala. died Fri., Feb. 7, 2014. The funeral service will take place Sun., Feb. 9 at Southside Baptist Church at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Herbert Brown, the Rev. Nathan Skipper, and Mike Blair officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today, Sat., Feb. 8, 2014, from 6 to 8:00 p.m.

Little is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Bell Little and Mattie Emma Beesley and step-father, Obia Beesley.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce F. Little of Greenville; daughter, Jill (Mitch) Little Oliver of Montgomery; son, Jeff (Denise) Little of Opp; grandson, Tyler Oliver; two sisters, Alice Faye (Frank) Harper and Sheila (Robert) Munday; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia Barbarow, 66, of Opp died Fri., Feb. 7, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held Mon., Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Joey Williams will officiate. Internment will follow in the Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sun., Feb. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home.

Barbarow is survived by her husband, Jessie Barbarow; son, Chris Nolan; and brother, Randall Long, all of Opp.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Annie Ruth McCart and Burvie Long.

PEARL OWENS BUTLER

Pearl Owens Butler, 89, of Andalusia died Thurs., Feb. 6, 2014, at Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be held Sun., Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Cotter and Bro. Denny Couturie officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be today, Sat., Feb. 8 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Butler was survived by her daughter, Zondra (Roger) Jernigan of Andalusia; grandsons, Raustin (Amanda) Jernigan and Will Jernigan, both of Andalusia; great-grandchildren, Aly Jernigan, Dawson Jernigan, Brady Jernigan, Bryce Jernigan and Haley Ray; and many special nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Butler; sisters, Flora Goodson, Florence Akins and Ruby Owens; and her parents, C.T. and Lillie Owens.

Pallbearers include Ricky Butler, Donald Butler, David Butler, Larry Daughtry, Kelly Campbell and Jeff Kilpatrick. Special music will be by Roger McLain and Kelly McCollough.

Barbara Jones Cook, 86, of Andalusia died Thurs., Feb. 6, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales, La.

Graveside services will be held Sun., Feb. 9, at 3 p.m. at Memory Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating, and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Flowers will be accepted.

Cook was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed watching Fox news.

Cook is survived by her a son, Andrew (Susan) Cook or Sorrenta La., and a grandson, Andrew B. Cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer Milner Jones and

Lillian White Jones; son, Joseph Brady Cook; and sister, Neta Ogletree.
