So far, Curtis Simpson has commitments for a hot air balloon ride, a poke run, a 5K, a pageant, a car show, bake sale, petting zoo and L.A. Idol talent contest as he seeks to expand the annual AJWC Three Notch Market to a Three Notch Festival.

Simpson said Tuesday the event, set for May 2 and 3, is designed to expand the work AJWC has already done the Three Notch Market and make the weekend bigger and better than ever for Andalusia.

With that in mind, he is inviting representatives of churches and civic organizations interested in sponsoring an event that weekend to attend a meeting at 6 p.m. this Thurs., Feb. 13, at the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce on River Falls Street.
