Former Opp standout and LBWCC Saint Gavin Free was one of two Huntingdon baseball pitchers to take the mound in the Hawks’ conference sweep over Covenant College on Saturday.

Free (3-2) picked up the game-two win in a complete outing, giving up one unearned run and striking out 14 to earn the win to eclipse a dominant pitching performance by his team.

During his time on the mound, Free struck out at least two batters in five innings while stitching the final three outs on strikeouts.
