A party is planned for this weekend and organizers are hoping locals will turn out in big numbers for some fun and food for a good cause.

The fourth annual Communities Care Backyard BBQ will take place tomorrow at the Kiwanis community center in Andalusia and will benefit the many programs South Central Alabama Mental Health oversees.

Organizers said this year’s event is going to have a little something for everyone,

On the entertainment front, the night’s activities will be headlined by country music artist and Samsom native Shane Owens, and will also include a silent auction.
