Andalusia’s annual softball tournament kicks off tonight at the Dwight Mikel Sports Complex.

Over the next two days, 11 teams will compete in pool and single elimination play for a shot at playing in the championship Saturday night.

Pool A teams include Northview, Trinity and Straughn; Pool B teams include Alabama Christian Academy, Kinston, Andalusia and Valley; and Pool C teams include Leroy, Jackson, Florala and Excel.

Tonight’s games and the first game tomorrow will be in pool play for Pools B and C. The No. 1 seeds from each pool advance to the quarterfinals on Saturday, while the No. 2 and 3 seeds from each play against one another to start bracket play.
