Kathryn W. Flowers, 56, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., April 13, 2014, at her residence.

A private memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Flowers is survived by her husband, Warren Brown of Andalusia; daughters, Jessica Lynn (Bill) Lowder of Manning, S.C., and Dana Marie (Bradley) Walton of Coco Beach, Fla.; brother, William Oliver White Jr. of Manning; sister, Linda; and grandchildren, Bailey Lowder, Thomas Lowder amd Miles Walton.

BILL HORTON

Bill Horton, 72, a resident of McKenzie, passed away Sun., April 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held Wed., April 16, at 2 p.m. from Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Allen Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery in McKenzie with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. The family will receive friends today, Tues., April 15, at Johnson Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m.

Horton is survived by his wife, Mary Horton of McKenzie; daughter: Debbie (Allen) Joyner of McKenzie; sons, John (Haden) Horton and Brent Horton, both of McKenzie; sisters, Eva Windham of Sugarland, Texas, Betty Roper of Jackson, Miss., and Jane Horton of Pensacola; granddaughters, Julie Joyner Wells, Bentley Horton and Sydney Horton; grandson, Blake Morgan Horton; and caregiver, Roger Lee.

SANDRA LEE MCLEAN

Sandra Lee McLean 71, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., April 13, 2014, at her residence.

A private memorial service was held with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

McLean is survived by her step-father, Joel Suggs of Andalusia; daughters, Paula Jean McKinney and Donna of Pensacola; brothers, Buddy Guest of Georgia, Eddie Suggs of Pensacola and Gary Biggs of Pensacola; sisters, Janice Suggs of Andalusia, Pat Smith of Pensacola and Jackie Guest of Pensacola; grandchildren, Judy and Jennifer; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Clay Trafenstedt.

BRUCE VEASEY JR.

Bruce “Pete” Veasey Jr., 81, of Andalusia, died Sun., April 13, 2014, in a local hospital. Funeral services for will be held today, Tues., April 15, from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Billy Boles will officiate. Interment will be in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Veasey is survived by his wife, Shirley Veasey of Andalusia; sons, Kelly (Lisa) Veasey and Keith (Tina) Veasey, both of Andalusia; grandchildren, Hannah (Will) Bumpers, Andrew Veasey, Brandon Veasey and Victoria Veasey; great-grandchild, Caroline Bumpers; sister, Reba Baisden of Andalusia; and several nieces and nephews.

Veasey was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Veasey and Norma C. Veasey, and a brother, Billy Wayne Veasey.

Pallbearers will be John David Kimbro, Eddie Williamson, Tony Veasey, Pete Owens, Bobby Smith and Mike Tyler. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Spears, Jeff Davis, Reed Davis, Eddie Davis, H.A. (Tex) Tyler and Gene Jones.

The body will lie in state at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Donald Ray Odom, 79, of Andalusia, died Thurs., April 10, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services were held Sun., April 13, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Monroe Sasser officiating. Interment followed at Babbie Cemetery.

Odom is survived by his wife, Peggy R. Odom of Andalusia; sons, John (Lea) Odom of Alexander City and Karl Odom of Babbie; daughter, Betty (Craig) Strickland of Babbie; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye Peterson of Andalusia, Mary (Cecil) Worley of Loango and Nina Merle Hall of Loango; and numerous nieces and nephews.
