Bedsole said 28-year-old Quinton Matthews was arrested on two counts of distribution of a controlled substance after he sold approximately a quarter ounce of marijuana to a person cooperating with Florala Police Department.

“He was arrested about two months ago for possession of marijuana with intent to sell,” Bedsole said. “Within the last two weeks he had sold again to someone cooperation with our police department. We served a warrant at his residence Tuesday and took him into custody.”

Matthews was booked into the Covington County Jail in Andalusia on a $200,000 bond.
