Women who participate in this Saturday’s Women’s Expo will hear motivational speakers, have an opportunity to visit with 32 vendors who cater to women, and can win door prizes from 27 local businesses.

Sponsored by the Women’s Advisory Board at Andalusia Regional Hospital, the event is being organized by board members Linda Ward, Fran Davidson and Dianne Curry, the expo, who are encouraging their women friends to take time to put themselves first.

The first 250 women to walk through the door will receive a goody bag, and there are light lunches also available for 200 people.

Nancy Dove will kick off the event with a motivational talk, and local doctors and mammography technicians will be on hand to talk casually with women who have questions.

“That really, is so important,” Ward said. “There are so many women who really have never had a conversation with a doctor.”

Vendors include Alan Cotton’s Florist; All is Well; Andalusia Garden Center and Landscaping; Andalusia Health and Fitness; Barrows Fine Furniture; Blue Goose; Celebrating Home Interiors; Comfort Care Hospice; Harolds Furniture and Flooring; Hospital Gift Shop; IGA; It Works Global; Jellies, Jams and Canned Goods; LAAC; Mary Kay Cosmetics; Pale Moon Yarns; Paparazzi Jewelry; Qivana; Real Time Pain Relief; Rodan and Fields Skincare; State Farm Financial Services Steamboat; Tabby D’s Christian Book and Gift; The Alabama Soap Lady; The Silver Locket; Town and Country; Upsy Daisy; Usborne Books and More; Utopia Salon and Spa; Vicki Popwell Photography; Walker Business; and Young Living Essential Oils.
