Bobby and Melinda Hall of Opp announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hillary, to Tyler Dent, son of Clyde and Jeannie Dent of Waverly Hall, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gloria Catrett and the late Ben Catrett and Lucille Hall and the late W.D. “Shorty” Hall.

She is a 2009 graduate of Opp High School and a graduate of Troy University, where she majored in accounting.

She is currently employed with L. Lance Jackson, PC.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Paula Kirk and the late Bill Kirk and Elsie Dent and the late Preston Dent.

He is a 2008 graduate of Harris County High School and earned a degree in social science from Troy University.

He is currently employed at Andalusia City Schools.

A June 28 wedding is planned. No local invitations are being sent.
