CHRISTINE STOKES

Christine Stokes, 90, a resident of Andalusia, passed away on Fri., June 20, 2014. Funeral services were held Mon., June 23, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Bethel West Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home, of Georgiana, directing arrangements.

Stokes is preceded in death by her husband, Claud Elmer Stokes; son, Eddie Stokes; sisters, Myrtle Sowell and Francis Crymes; and brothers, Junior Williams, J.T. Williams, Glen Williams and Luther Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Ralph) Simmons of Andalusia; sisters, Winnie Lanier of Red Level and Eva Bullard of Andalusia; grandchildren, Mollie Riley, Stacey Diamond, Steven Stokes and Chris Stokes; great grandchildren, Carrie Cottle, Cody Helms, William Diamond, Reagan Diamond, Carson Diamond, Austin Stokes and Kaylee Stokes.
Pallbeaers were Cody Helms, Justin Cottle, Brian Riley, David Wyatt, Don Bullard, Jeff Palmer. Carson Diamond, Austin Stokes and Kaylee Stokes.

A memorial service will be held for Sandra Neill Albritton Robinson, today, Tues., June 24, 2014, at 11a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia.
