The latest edition of FYI Magazine received this week provokes a question about what standards The Star-News now operates under. When an “adult film star” is pictured in a listing of those from this area who have attained genuine success in their fields, you greatly dishonor all others listed. For those who may not know, “adult film star” is a politically correct way of saying the person referred to works in the pornographic film industry. The dictionary defines someone who exchanges sex for money as a prostitute. Did you really consider this “film star” to be deserving of mention because they came from our area? Proverbs 14:34: Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
I pray for your greater wisdom even as I pray for the one whose immoral acts you glorified to know Christ.
