ACS hires 8

The Andalusia Board of Education made several personnel decisions Monday, including:

• Accepting the resignation of Barbara Eiland as a paraprofessional at AES.

• Hiring Betty Beamon as a 6-hour cafeteria worker at AES.

• Hiring Morgan Burnette as an elementary teacher at AES.

• Hiring Shan Burkhardt as a secretary at AES.

• Hiring Peacia Davis as a special ed paraprofessional at AES

• Hiring Evan Soles as a special ed paraprofessional at Andalusia Junior High School

• Hiring Robert Woodall as a special ed paraprofessional at AHS.

• Hiring Allyson Clarke as the early childhood teacher for the new Pre-K program at AES.

• Hiring Jennifer Majors as a paraprofessional at AES.

• Placing Donna Kelley, who has been on a leave of absence, as a special ed paraprofessional at AES.

The board also transferred:

• Kim Lawrence , cafeteria worker, fro AES to AJHS.

• Bonnie Harris, cafeteria worker, from AJHS to AES

• Terri Sheridan, cafeteria worker, from AJHS to AES.

• Cindee Strong, special ed paraprofessional at AES, to Pre-K auxiliary teacher at AES.

The board extended the contracts of three cafeteria workers by 30 minutes each day, including:

• Susan McDaniel (AES);

• Bonnie Harris (AJHS);

• Carolyn Barrow, AES.
