Tony Smith

Mr. Tony Smith, age 31, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Aug. 2, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wed., Aug. 6, 2014, at Zion Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Frankie McVay will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends one hor prior to services at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Smith, Andalusia; son, Kyle Lee Smith, and daughter, Heidi Smith, both of Elba; and his brothers, Rusty Smith and Thomas Smith, Jr., Andalusia;

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Smith, and grandparents, Ollie and Jim McVay and James and Evelyn Smith.

 

Jimmy Golden

Mr. Jimmy Golden, age 77, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Aug. 3, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tues., Aug. 5, 2014, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Billy Boles will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors and Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Golden, Andalusia; daughter, Jennifer Bennett (Keith) Thomas, Andalusia; and sisters, Dian (Bob) McDonald, Andalusia, and Sarah (Ranol) Burch, Mobile.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Joyce Hermeling.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Thomas, Craig Thomas, Randall Harrison, Mike Moore, Kenny Moore, John Harrison.

Mr. and Mrs. Golden were married for 51 years. He loved his family very much. He also had a keen sense of humor and was a skilled cartoonist.

 

 

JEWEL JEFFCOAT

Jewel Jeffcoat, age 71, of Enterprise, formerly of Andalusia, passed away, Thurs., July 31, 2014, in Colquitt, Ga. She was an artist and a bank teller,

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Mon., Aug. 4, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Tim Clubb officiating. Burial followed in New Home Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Home Cemetery, 2734 County Road 671, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Survivors include her husband, Jerrell Jeffcoat; two daughters, Gwen Jay and Sandy Gardner (Bryon); three sons, Tim Jeffcoat, John Jeffcoat, and Joey Jeffcoat, all of Enterprise; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
