Three local football teams will play in preseason jamboree games tonight.

Pleasant Home will play Zion Chapel in a live football game for four quarters, except on special teams, which includes kick offs, kick off returns and punts.

Eagles head football coach Chris Mason said he’s looking for the players to go full speed.

“We’ve been preaching all year to finish and I’m looking for that every play,” Mason said. “We’ve not opening the play book very deep. I’d like to see us execute. Things will go wrong, and that’s OK. We’ll get better.”

Mason said he’s also looking to see how the players respond to adversity, and “how they handle it.”

Straughn will visit Brantley tonight in a jamboree. The starters on both teams will play the first three quarters, followed by the B-team in the fourth.

All special teams will not be live, Tigers head football coach Trent Taylor said.

Red Level visits Highland Home, where the varsity squad will play the first half; the B-team plays the third quarter; and the junior high team plays the fourth.

Special teams will not play live with only the punter and punt returner in live action.

All jamboree games tonight start at 7.
