Pleasant Home’s Jon Cole Chesser scored three touchdowns to help lead the Eagles to a 26-22 win over Zion Chapel Friday night in a jamboree game.

With 11 minutes to play, PHS led 26-0 after Garrett Barton connected with Hunter Price from 20 yards.

PHS led 7-0 at halftime.

Eagles head football coach Chris Mason said the team has a lot to work on, despite the victory.

“They always say you get better between weeks one and two,” he said. “I think the hard work we had in the summer has paid off.”

Pleasant Home opens its regular season next week at home against New Brockton.
