Summer’s almost over and a local charitable organization is offering families a chance to clean out their closets, earn a little extra cash and help out.

Organizer Heather Owen said the annual Little Lambs Consignment Sale is set for Fri., Sept. 12, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., and Sat., Sept. 13, from 8 a.m. until noon, at the Kiwanis Building in Andalusia.

Owen said those interested in contributing to the sale should do so by this year’s deadline of Sept. 5.

Sellers are required to pay a $10 registration fee and commit to working a three-hour shift before, during or after the sale, and sellers will have the opportunity to shop on Fri., Sept. 12, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
