Andalusia shutout Opp in youth football action on Saturday at Channel-Lee Stadium.

The Bulldogs beat the Bobcats 32-0 apiece in midgets and tinymites; 6-0 in termites; and 13-0 in peewee.

In the tinymites game, Andalusia’s J’Marion Burnette led the Bulldogs with three rushing touchdowns. Collin Wheeler and Jordan Hill had one rushing TD each.

The offensive line also had a good game with three-year starters James Milton Jackson, Tristan Pitts, Hugh Wallace Stovall, Kole Petery and Brady Jackson leading the way.

On defense, which has given up one score this season, Pitts, Jackson, Jordan Hill, Brunson Wilson, Talan Worley, Stovall and Zy Wilson led the lot in the win.

In termites, Andalusia’s Omare Latimer scored the only touchdown for the Bulldogs 45 seconds into the second quarter of a defensive struggling game.

For the peewees, Andalusia’s Mike Hourel scored on the first play of the game with a 60-yard run. Gage Messick followed the score with a 3-yard extra point.

Later in the fourth quarter, Hourel punched it in from 4 yards. Marquez Harrison fell short of the extra point to make it 13-0.

In other youth football league action, Straughn’s midgets beat Greenville 26-0. The tinymites lost 26-6; the termites lost 12-6; and the peewees won 13-6 over Greenville.

This Saturday, the Bulldogs host Greenville in regular season action. Straughn is off this week.

In Andalusia, midgets get under way at 4 p.m., followed by the tinymites at 5, the termites at 6 and the peewees at 7.
