Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the Opp Chamber of Commerce’s first-ever “Thanks-Burger” hamburger drive thru.

“Each plate will include a grilled-to-perfection hamburger, a tasty bag of chips, a delicious dessert, and a refreshing beverage,” said Emilee Gage of the Opp Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets will be pre-sold and will be available at the chamber, Body Conscious, Southern Style, Opp Micolas Credit Union, CCB Community Bank, Southern Independent Bank, Merle Norman, Jason Cain, S & P Communications and more locations may be announced soon.

Gage said residents are encouraged to purchase plates in advance, though there will be some extras available the day of the event.

Additionally, those who purchase tickets in advance will be entered to win one of four $25 Opportunity Bucks Certificates to “shop Opp.”

Gage said those who wish to be eligible to win the Opportunity Bucks, must put their names and phone number on the ticket that will be turned in the day of the vent.

“Please have your ticket with you at the ‘Thanks-Burger’ hamburger drive thru on Nov. 21, in order to receive your hamburger plate and for the eligibility to be a winner,” she said. “We cannot replace lost tickets.”

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Opp Adult Activity Center on Brantley Street.
