MINDY ANN GARDINER

1104-Obit-pic-web Mindy Ann Gardiner, 43, passed away on Sat., Nov. 1, 2014, at her residence in Parker, Fla.

She fought cancer for six years and is now sheltered in the arms of God, and no longer in pain.

Preceding in death was her father, Curnel Asbury Hysmith.

She is survived by her 13-year-old son, Zachary Ryan Gardiner of Parker; her mother, Beverly Fern Hysmith, also of Parker; her sister Rita (husband Mike) Martin of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and their daughter Melinda; sister, Amy Hysmith; and grandmother, Geraldine E. Kilpatrick (Betty) of Parker.

Mindy had worked many years with Tom Ledman at Ledman Construction Vacation Home Management, and really enjoyed her job. She was dearly loved by many friends and family. We know that those who live in the Lord never see each other for the last time.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to can make donations to her mother (1027 West Street, Parker, FL 32404) to help with her cremation or to the Tommy Hamm Sr. Cancer Center in Lynn Haven.

MARY MARSHALL CAULEY

Mrs. Mary Marshall Cauley, 87, of Andalusia, died Fri., Oct. 31, 2014, at her residence.

A funeral service for Mrs. Cauley were held on Mon., Nov. 3, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Branson Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery.

Mrs. Cauley is survived by her daughter, Karen Weant of Mobile; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Teresa Cauley of Andalusia and Kenny and Tracy Cauley of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; sister, Lucile Norsworthy; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Junior Cauley.

HARRIET JACKSON

OSWALD

Harriet Jackson Oswald, 69, of Evergreen, died Wed., Oct. 29, 2014. She was born Dec. 14, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Frances Jackson of Covington County.

Graveside services were held Fri., Oct. 31, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Carolina Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Finklea officiating and Cope Funeral Home, Evergreen, directing.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Oswald, Evergreen; one son, Chris (Donna) Bowman, Andalusia; four daughters, Melanie (Russell) Hamrac, Auburn, Ashley (Steven) Rios, Opelika, Mychelle (Elisa) Danford and Ellen Weed, both of Andalusia; one sister, Pat Mixon, Ft. Walton, Fla.; and nine grandchildren, Christopher Bowman Jr., Curtis Bowman, Ryan Hamrac, Caitlin Hamrac, Sophia Rios, Trinity Oswald, Butch Danford, Hunter Cheshire, and Ayda Reynolds.

 

JULIA GARVIN SMITH

Mrs. Julia Garvin Smith, 87, formerly of Andalusia, died Thurs., Oct. 30, 2014, in Crestview, Fla.

A graveside service for Mrs. Smith was held on Mon., Nov. 3, in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Dillman officiating.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Marjorie Smith of Crestview; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Paul Marusich Jr. of Hope Hull; five grandchildren, Chris and Ryan Marusich and Brandon, Jordan and Morgan Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Jim Mizell of Gantt; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Smith.
