Sophomores Treleigh Weeks, Kailey Taylor, Maggie Taylor, Morgan Pierce and Parker Nelson. Freshman Clancy Stanfield, Rebecca Josey and Caroline Breedlove. Opp is coached by Lorrie Harrison.

The cheer squad had a very exciting weekend. Friday night the girls cheered and celebrated Opp’s victory over Slocomb in round two of the AHSAA football playoffs. After the football game they loaded up headed north five hours to Hanceville. The team was able to get a few hours of sleep before having to compete at 10 a.m. Saturday.

“They overcame the lack of sleep to execute a nearly perfect routine,” OHS principal Ron Snell said.
