Both the Andalusia City and Covington County boards of education have scheduled special meetings today.

The Andalusia BOE will meet at noon in the central office. The agenda states the meeting is to address hiring, and the only open position the board is advertising is a head football coach for AHS.

The Covington County BOE will meet at 6 p.m. Its agenda was not provided, but a social media campaign is encouraging parents interested in sports programs to attend.
