An Andalusia man has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a child under 12 years old.

According to Covington County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy David Anderson, Justin Lawrence Turner, 30, is accused of having sexual contact with a child he was babysitting earlier this month.

Anderson said Turner confessed to having sexually abused the victim to a sheriff’s office investigator.

He turned himself in to the sheriff’s office and was booked into the Covington County Jail under a $150,000 bond.
