Jan Seymour

Mrs. Jan Seymour, 77, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Jan. 24, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Tues., Jan. 27, 2015, from Foreman Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tim Trent officiating. Interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Will Seymour, Jamey Doulin, Kenny Shiver, Kevin Price, Tim Barton and Joe Barton.

Mrs. Seymour graduated from Andalusia High School in 1957 and later became an accountant by trade. She was a member of numerous associations and loved the game of golf.

Survivors include her husband, James W. Seymour of Andalusia; daughter, Karen S. Doulin of Andalusia; son and daughter-in-law James W. Seymour II (Angela) of Andalusia; grandchildren, Melanie Doulin, Jamey Doulin, Will Seymour, and Hanna Seymour; great-grandchildren Dylan Doulin and Flora Seymour; and her sister, JoAnn Achord of Orlando, Fla.

Her brother, Bobby Ray Shiver, preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Choir fund.

Visitation was from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Mon., Jan. 26, 2015, at Foreman Funeral Home.

Caroline Walker Williamson

Caroline Walker Williamson, 90, of Andalusia passed away Mon., Jan. 26, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wed., Jan. 28, 2015, at the First Free Will Baptist Church of Dozier. Bro. Glen Tatum will officiate. Interment will follow in the First Free Will Baptist Church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tues., Jan. 27, 2015, in the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel.

She is survived by her sons, Frank (Carolyn Johnson) Walker of Dozier, Carl (Karen) Walker of Gantt, Andy (Polly) Walker of Loango, Jerry (Leneatha) Williamson, and Steve Williamson of Dozier; her daughters, Eunice (Kenny D.) Slawson of Andalusia, Wanda (Richard) Gunter of Gantt, Dot Brogden of Rose Hill, Annette Marler; her daughter-in-law, Lottie Walker; a sister, Flarcy Flowers Jones of Highland Home; 46 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her husbands, Luey Walker and Shorty Williamson; two children, Alice Jewel Cauthen and Nathan Samuel Walker; and seven grandchildren, John Taylor, Clayton Walker, William Taylor, Rocky Taylor, Angel Taylor, Caleb Walker, and Amelia Slawson.
