The circus is coming, and so is the fair.

The Florala City Council on Monday granted permission for Lewis and Clark Circus to do a show on city property on the lake on Feb. 15.

The council also granted permission for the 24th of June Committee to have a Spring Fling Fair on March 2-7.

Committee member Justin Jackson said the James Gang of Andalusia will be in Florala for the event, designed to give local residents something to do.

Jackson said there also will be a fair during June for the annual 24th of June celebration.
