Arrington, Shiver to unite in May wedding ceremony

Neil and Kim Arrington and Phillip and Lynn Shiver of Andalusia, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, MaryBeth and Brent.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rex and Janice Arrington and Farris and Barbara Norris, all of Andalusia.

She is a 2009 graduate of Andalusia High School and a 2013 graduate of Troy University with a degree in nursing.

She is employed with the Andalusia Regional Hospital as a registered nurse.

The groom is the grandson of W.D. and Lillian Shiver and Aubrey and Lucille Kilpatrick, all of Opp.

He is a 2009 graduate of Andalusia High School and a 2014 graduate of Troy University with a degree in geomatics. He is employed with CDG Engineers & Associates, as a surveyor.

The couple will unite in marriage on May 23, 2015, at the Edgar Barn in Opp.

Nall, Smith to say ‘I do’

Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Michael Nall are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of his daughter, Shelley Elizabeth, to Edward Shelby Smith of Florala.

The bride-elect, also the daughter of the late Katherine Buck Nall, is a 2003 graduate from Andalusia High School and a 2007 graduate from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She is currently employed in the Andalusia City School system as a kindergarten teacher.

The bride-elect’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Carlton Buck of Andalusia. Her paternal grandparents are Mrs. Anna Lois Wells Nall and the late Mr. Erwin Douglas Nall from the Heath community.

The prospective groom is the son of Ms. Debra Phelps Smith of Opp, and Mr. Charles Thomas Smith of Florala. He is a 2002 graduate from Opp High School and a 2006 graduate from Auburn University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and is currently self-employed as an independent insurance agent.

The prospective groom’s maternal grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Phelps of Opp. His paternal grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Smith of Florala.

A spring wedding is planned at Springdale Estate on April 25, 2015. Invitations will be sent.

The couple will reside in Andalusia.

Hutto, Bracewell to wed March 21

Mr. and Mrs. Warren E. Hutto of Waynesboro, Miss., announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kerri Leigh Hutto, to Michael Chad Bracewell of Andalusia, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Bracewell.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Neola Hutto of Clara, Miss., the late Warren Hutto and Marie Williams of Fruitdale and the late B.W. Williams.

She is a registered nurse currently working in labor and delivery at George Regional Hospital in Lucedale, Miss.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Janice Bracewell of Andalusia, the late Joe Taylor Bracewell and Lillian and Lee Kirkland, the late Robert Blackburn, and is the great grandson of Nancy Conforti of Andalusia.

He is a crane operator with ENSCO Drilling Co.

The couple will exchange wedding vows during a 5:30 p.m., ceremony on Sat., March 21, in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., with reception to follow at Draper Lake.

The public is invited through the medium of the press.

Theobald, Glisson to exchange vows

Stephen and Cheryl Theobald of Biloxi, Miss., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tahler Anne Theobald of Biloxi, to Chase Bradford Glisson of Andalusia, son of Timothy and Leslie Glisson of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Travis and Louise Begue of Pass Christian, Miss., and Barbara and the late George Theobald of Vicksburg, Miss.

She earned a bachelor of science in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi, and is employed with St. Alphonsus Catholic School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Thelma and the late Opal Glisson of Andalusia and Sandra and the late Les Roberts of Andalusia.

He earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Alabama, and is employed with Jackson County Utility Authority.

The wedding is scheduled for 6 p.m., March 21, at Nativity Cathedral in Biloxi, Miss.

Loflin, Smith plan April wedding

Mr. and Mrs. John Dozier Loflin of Andalusia are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Suzanne, to John Parker Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gayle Smith of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late William Fox Hughes and Mrs. Erin Jeffcoat Williams of Goshen, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Dozier Loflin of Henderson.

She is a 2005 graduate of Andalusia High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of South Alabama where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She was a member of Kappa Delta social sorority. She is currently employed by Caring Hearts Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care in Crestview, Fla. where she provides care for medically complex and special needs children.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Earnest Parker of Opelika, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bascom Smith of Andalusia.

He is a 2005 graduate of Andalusia High School and a 2011 graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He is currently employed by Seadrill where he works in the Subsea department.

The couple will unite in marriage at 6 p.m. on Sat., April 11, 2015, at First Baptist Church with a reception immediately following at Springdale Estate in Andalusia.
