Three Opp pitchers combined to shutout the Pleasant Home Lady Eagles 3-0 Thursday at home.

In the first two innings, starting pitchers Taylor McGhee and Anna Harrelson worked around a couple of hits, but managed to keep the game knotted at 0-0 entering the bottom of the third.

Ariyon Hightower ignited the Lady Bobcats with a two-run double that was belted down the right field line.

The Lady Bobcats picked up its final run in the bottom of the sixth when Hightower scored from third on an error.

Hightower led the Bobcats at the plate going 3-for-3 with two double and two RBIs.

Katlynn Schively worked two innings in relief of starter Harrelson, and picked up the win for the Lady Bobcats.

Courtney Chatham earned the save after giving up just one hit over the final three innings.

“We played well defensively, and had good pitching from all three of our pitchers,” Lady Bobcats’ head coach Jimmy Reeves said. “Ariyon Hightower had a good day at the plate. Pleasant Home is a good team. We were fortunate to beat them.”
