Taylor Rhudy was the fastest male and Brandi Thomson was the fastest female in Saturday’s sMiles for Megan 5K.

It was perhaps the largest run/walk ever held in Andalusia. More than 500 people registered, and 340 people participated on Saturday morning.

Rhudy was first in a field of 209 runners with a time of 19:56. Thomson was the first female and fifth overall with a time of 21:35.

Age division winners who ran, listed in order of first, second and third place, were:

• Males, 0-9 –  Hudson Kelley, 33:05.

• Males, 10-19 – Johnathan Driver, 21-15; Samual Driver, 21:24; Ross Graham, 23:58.

• Males, 20-29 – Michael Kelley, 24:02; Stephen Bowen, 25:25; Will Jackson, 26:41.

• Males, 30-39 – Jason Jessie, 20:17; Corey Bryan, 24:25; T.J. Kelley, 24:53.

• Males, 40-49 – Jody Jackson, 27:26; Tom Albritton, 28:42; Jonathan Buie, 30:14.

• Males, 50-59 – Randy Hildreth, 22:38; Clint Fallin, 25:08; Steve Thomas, 33:15.

• Males, 60-up – Monte Russell, 29:02; Reidar Opgaard, 30:59; Joseph B. Lee, 32;48.

• Females, 0-9 – Sara Catherine Samson, 31:32; Meredith Grace Wilson, 37:12; Ashland Kelley, 38:19.

• Females, 10-19 – Abigail Thomas, 25:39; Beth Johnson, 28:22; Carley Elizabeth Glidewell, 28:55.

Sydeny Ray led the walkers with a time of 28:16, followed by Kim Hollinghead at 34:52 and Savannah Kelley with a time of 39:32.

Justin Clark was the fastest male walker with a time of 37:05, followed by Austin Leverington with a time of 40:33, and Jay Farrington with a time of 42:07.

The event was the first fundraiser for the new Megan Kelley Smiles Foundation, formed in memory of the young woman who lost her battle with leukemia earlier this year. The foundation will provide support to young adults with cancer.
