2 indicted for theft charges

A Covington County grand jury last week indicted a local man on theft charges.

According to court records, Lance Daniel McNeill, was indicted on theft of property I charges.

The indictment says that McNeill obtained money, checks, inventory or materials that were property of McNeill Inc., and were in excess of $2,500, with the intent to deprive the owner.

McNeill was booked into the Covington County Jail on a $30,000 bond.

Theft of property I is a class B felony.

Additionally, Amber Rain Pinkston was indicted in a separate case for theft of property I and burglary III.

According to the indictments, Pinkston is accused of stealing a television, electrical receptacle, covers, speakers, assorted clothes, and an air mattress from Nathaniel Blount. The value was more than $2,500.

The burglary indictment said that Pinkson knowingly entered and remained in a building belonging to Blount with the intent to commit a crime.

She was taken to the Covington County Jail and held on a $60,000 bond.
