TRUDIE ANNELLE BETTS

Mrs. Trudie Annelle Betts, 67, of Andalusia, passed away on Mon., July 20, 2015, in the Andalusia Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow, Wed., July 22, 2015, at the Dixie Community Church with Judge Ashley McKathan officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Sidney McKathan of the Pleasant Home community; her sons, Scott Slaymaker and Rob Slaymaker, both of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Amber Slaymaker and Christopher Wagoner; two great-grandchildren, Reagan Wagoner and Corbin Slaymaker; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Mike Fields of Decatur, Ill.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Julie Nix of Milton, Fla.

GEORGIA BELL GREEN

Mrs. Georgia Bell Green, 94, of Andalusia, passed away on Fri., July 17, 2015, at her residence.

A graveside service was held on Mon., July 20, from Able Cemetery with the Rev. Red Coleman officiating.

Mrs. Green is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Gina Green of Andalusia; daughter, Diane Green Pettie of Andalusia; four grandchildren, Chuck Green, Nikki Green, Jason Pettie and George Pettie; seven great-grandchildren; and a very close friend and companion for over 50 years, Miss Eddie Jo Florence.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, C.W. Green.

Pallbearers will include Floyd Lee, Larry Rountree, James Jones, Gaston Kilpatrick, Bill Carter and Randall Holland.
