WILLIE MAY GODWIN THORNTON

Mrs. Willie May Godwin Thornton, 50, of Red Level, passed away on Tues., July 28, 2015, from injuries in an auto accident.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Sat., Aug. 1, 2015, from Longbranch Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Croley and Dean Mathews officiating. Interment will follow in Longbranch Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Katie Thornton of Red Level; her mother, Lee Johnson, also of Red Level; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Gene and Marta Godwin of Luverne; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include Heath Harper, Mark Godwin, David Godwin, Tim Bounds, John Butts, Frank Butts, Steve Mitchell and Michael Smithart.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Fri., July 31, 2015, at Foreman Funeral Home and also one hour prior to services at the church.
