Miriam Dee Wesley Broom

Mrs. Miriam Dee Wesley Broom, 85, of Andalusia passed away Thurs., Sept. 17, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Sat., Sept. 19, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Wilson Meadows and John Daszczuk officiating. Interment will follow in River Falls Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Henry Larkin Broom of Andalusia; son, Gerald Glynn Broom of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Broom and Ronnie Edwards of Andalusia; grandchildren, Michael Glynn Broom, Rebecca Kathryn Broom, Angela DeeAnn Canant, April Michelle Favors, Beverly Dawn Edwards, Pamela Broom Majors, Paula Broom Davis; great grandchildren, Jacob Lingrosso, Corey Lingrosso, Lexie Cross, Matthew Baxley, Taylor Cook, Madison Sherwood, Dylan Canant, Macye Canant, Tallon Canant, Michael Justin Majors, Logan Majors, Zachary Majors, Lauren Davis, and Kara Davis; brothers, Wally Cleveland Wesley and William Jerry Wesley; sister, Jeannie Wesley Hendee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Walter Reese Broom.

Maxwell “Mack” Rogers Fuqua

Mr. Maxwell “Mack” Rogers Fuqua, 89, of Andalusia passed away Fri., Sept. 18, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sun., Sept. 20, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Ganus officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat., Sept. 19, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Pickron Fuqua; son, Roger Fuqua; step-daughter, Donna Simmons; step-son, John Powell; granddaughter, Deanna Coker; five step-grandchildren, Leigh Morgan, Jody Odom, Jenny Jordan, Ashley Fuller, and LeeAnn Simmons Henderson; nine step-great grandchildren, Brittin Morgan, Cole Morgan, Reagan Odom, Jackson Odom, Emily Jordan, Ella Jordan, Tristan Fuller, Lilly Fuller, and Emma Henderson; and brothers, William Fuqua and Delma Fuqua.

He is preceded in death by wife, Marie Powell Fuqua; children, Enoch Holley, Paul Holley, Glenn Holley, Alice Holley, and Retha Jo Morgan; and sisters, Lillie Belle Henley and Voncilee Chavers.
