Happy (sunny) days are here again

The sun will likely come today, but will definitely be out in full force on Wednesday.

The weekend was full of clouds thanks to the upper-level low that was spinning off the East Coast, and is associated with historic flooding in South Carolina.

National Weather Service forecasters said the low is expected to move off to the east, dragging the rain and clouds away.

With the clouds leaving, the temperatures will increase.

Today the high will reach 84 with a low of 61.

By Wednesday the high will hit 88 and the low will be 60.

Thursday will look very similar to today, with a high of 84 and a low of 63.

Friday will be partly sunny, with a high near 85 and a low of 65.

Showers could make their way into the forecast for the weekend. Forecasters are calling for a 20 percent chance of showers with partly sunny skies and a high near 84 on Saturday.
