Man injured in motorcyle accident

An Andalusia man was airlifted from Andalusia Wednesday after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a vehicle.

Allen Scofield, public information officer for the Andalusia Police Department, said law enforcement officers responded to a motorcycle vs. car accident on Antioch Road near the Regal Apartments just before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

A motorcycle driven by 20-year-old Ladarious Devante Lymon of Andalusia collided with a 2000 Mazda Millenia driven by 90-year-oldold Elmer Hill of Andalusia. Officers say Lymon was leaving the Regal Apartments at a high rate of speed when he hit the car. The force of the impact threw

Lymon from the motorcycle, causing serious injury.

Lymon was transported by LifeFlight to Baptist Hospital in Montgomery for treatment.

The driver of the car, Elmer Hill of Andalusia was not injured. Officer Jimmy Lassiter investigated the accident.
