Straughn playoff game moved to Thursday

Earlier Tuesday morning, the Alabama High School Athletic Association announced it was moving a number of games to Thursday night because of impending weather conditions.

Straughn’s game in Bibb County has been moved up to Thursday night.

Andalusia is scheduled to host West Blocton Friday. Opp will travel to Midfield on Friday. As of now, both of those games have not been changed.

New Thursday matchups announced included:

• Straughn at Bibb County;

• Kinston at Maplesville;

• Samson at Pickens County;

• Brantley will host A.L. Johnson;

• Daleville will host Greensboro;

• Greenville will host Dallas County; and,

• Charles Henderson at Demopolis.

In addition to the AHS and OHS names, Friday matchups are:

• T.R. Miller will host Coosa County;

• W.S. Neal at Munford;

• Luverne at Mobile Christian;

• Georgiana will host Keith;

• McKenzie at Linden;

• Hillcrest-Evergreen at Montgomery Academy;

• Pike County will host Aliceville;

• Goshen at Washington County; and,

• New Brockton at Flomaton.
