“Always be thankful. We may never have everything, but at least we have something.”

First graders in Mrs. Wilson’s class at Straughn Elementary School shared what they were thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Sam Meadows said he was thankful for his mom, dad, whole family and granny.

“I’m thankful for Jesus and God,” said Aiden Joyner.

Shelby James was thankful for her family.

“I’m thankful for food and family,” said Amy Thai.

MaKayla Fair said she was thankful for her momma.

“I’m thankful for my mom and my dad,” said Sierra Wilkerson.

Ava Padgett was thankful for her dog.

Christopher Segmiller said he was thankful for his church.

“I’m thankful for Kenleigh because she’s when I get sad,” Abigail Cleland said.

Brady Canant said he was thankful for everything he has.

Austin Seay is thankful for his family.

“I’m thankful for my mom and my sister,” said Anna Thai.

Maddison Godwin said she was thankful for her house.

Tegan Pressley said she was thankful for her dog.

“I’m thankful for my mom and my dad,” said Braydin Bonham.

Turner Walters said hew as thankful for his friends and family.
