Emily Catherine Edson and Kenneth Larry Skipper announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Emily is the daughter of Lisa and Alex Mount of Red Level and

Randy and Ashley Edson of Andalusia.

She is the granddaughter of Sharon Dye and the late Bobby Dye and Ruth Edson and the late Ronnie Edson.

Emily is a graduate of Red Level High School and currently attends Troy University where she is pursuing a degree in education.

Kenneth (Kenny) is the son of Larry and Sandy Skipper of Red Level.

He is the grandson of Jimmy and Elizabeth Coxwell and the late Kenneth and Mary Jo Skipper.

Kenny is a graduate of Red Level High School and Auburn University and is currently employed with the Covington County School System as a teacher/coach at Straughn High School.

The wedding is planned for 5 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 12, 2015.  Formal invitations have been sent.
