Covington County Distinguished Young Woman Elizabeth McCalman was a finalist in the fitness, talent and self expression competitions, and was an overall Top 8 finalist at the state event held in Montgomery this past weekend, earning $2,900 in scholarships. She is shown in this Montgomery Advertiser photo performing her talent. McCalman, who dances with the senior company of the Andalusia Ballet, performed en pointe. She is an Andalusia High School senior, and the daughter of David and Staci McCalman of Andalusia.
