On Tuesday afternoon in Andalusia, the LBWCC Lady Saints took down Jeff Davis for a 6-2 win.

The Lady Saints came out strong and picked up four runs in the opening frame.

Katelyn Kinsaul drove in Hannah Fountain on a hard-hit ball for the first run of the game.

Emily Terry then made the score 3-0 with a 2-RBI single that scored Kinsaul and Taylor Bethea.

In the top of the second inning, Paige Taylor drove in Kinsaul to give the Lady Saints 5-0 lead.

LBWCC took a 6-0 in the bottom of the second when Andi Hughes came around to score.

“This was the second time we have seen this pitcher and we did a better job off sitting back and being patient,” Lady Saints’ head coach Candace Tucker said. “Emily Terry did a great job at the plate today, and really we have been hitting the ball better as a team over the past few weeks. Our pitching has done a great job of keeping us in games. They haven’t been overpowering, but they just get us outs.”
