April Diane Moore

Miss April Diane Moore, 24, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., April 26, 2016, at the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thurs., April 28, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Frankie McVay and Brother Glenn Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Five Runs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy Moore (David Jernigan); her father, Kenneth (Amanda) Moore; two brothers, Kenny (Bobby) Spurlin, Jimmy Dewayne (Jennifer) Moore; a half sister, Randa Freeman, all of Andalusia; a half brother, James Hunter Ainsworth of Elba; one step-sister, Caillee Jernigan of Andalusia; her maternal grandparents, Lois and Walter Harris of Andalusia; paternal grandfather, Jimmy Freeman of Lockhart; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Earl David Chappell, and paternal grandmother, Betty Diane Freeman.

Ruby Lean Parr Smith

Mrs. Ruby Lean Parr Smith, age 84, of Andalusia passed away at her residence on April 23, 2016.

A funeral service was held Mon., April 25, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Diane Brake Everett officiating the service; interment followed in Macedonia Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Ruby Diane Smith and Vicki S. and John Clark III all of Andalusia; sons, William Paul Smith, Jr. of Andalusia and Michael Smith of Century, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Juni Smith; grandchildren, William Paul Smith III of Andalusia, Michael Douglas Smith of Andalusia, Mandi (Dave) Morris of Andalusia, Griffin (Holly) Smith of Auburn, John (Alyson) Clark IV of New Orleans, Matthew (Shelli) Smith of Andalusia, Kellye (Kevin) Rodgers of Andalusia, and Justin (Tamara) Clark of Andalusia; 10 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; sister, Jean Pugh of Bonifay, Fla; brother, Wilton Parr of Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Lee and Lois Parr; husband, William Paul Smith, Sr.; son, Roger Dale Smith; and a sister.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to Macedonia Cemetery Fund.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Williams Lanier

Mrs. Winnie Lee Williams Lanier, age 96, of Red Level, passed away Sat., April 23, 2016 at her residence.

Funerals service will be at 11 a.m. Wed., April 27, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Antioch Community Cemetery in Red Level. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lanier is survived by her daughter, Debra Lynn Williams Fletcher of Red Level; grandson, Micah Fletcher of Valdosta, Ga.; great-granddaughter, Ashley Fletcher; sister, Eva Bullard of Andalusia; sister-in-law, Myrtle Ruth Williams; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen Edgar and Mamie Williams, Sr.; husband of 40 years, Obie Lanier; brothers, J.T. Williams, Glen Williams, Luther Williams, and Stephen E. Williams, Jr.; and sisters, Christine Stokes, Myrtle Sowell, and Frances Crymes.
