Vector Aerospace recently hosted a luncheon to show support for all of the law enforcement officers in the local community.

The company has had a long history of supporting not only military personnel from the training wing at Naval Air Station Whiting Field, Fla. And the U.S. Army Aviation Center for Excellence at Ft. Rucker, Ala., but several law enforcement agencies, as well. Agencies as far away as the Orange County Sheriff Department in Irvine, Calif, have trusted Vector Andalusia with their aircraft maintenance.

“We have a long history of supporting our military and law enforcement personnel here in Andalusia,” Rick Pataky, vice president of operations at Vector, said. “Police officers and our military put their lives on the line every day for us, and during these troubling times, we felt we needed to give back in some small way. We’re proud of the work that we do for various law enforcement agencies around the country, but the way our employees have come together to donate their time and resources to say ‘thank you’ to the police departments in our community makes me especially proud.”

Employees presented those participating with “survival kit bags.” In addition, each office represented received an appreciation plaque made by Vector’s talented structures technicians.
