1101-spt-rlhsThe season may not have gone the way that Red Level wanted, but the Tigers showed improvements during the year.

Red Level started the year with a close game to Cottonwood, but the Tigers came up just short of the win.

After falling the next week in another close game to Houston County, the Tigers put together a three-game winning streak.

During the streak, the Tigers hammered Florala, Kinston and J.F. Shields.

The Tigers’ season got difficult as they played three-straight playoff bound schools.

Red Level didn’t get another win during the season, but showed no quit even when playoffs were out of the question.

“That last game of the season against Ariton was one of the best games we played,” Red Level head coach James Wise said. “It was the first time that I felt like we played all four quarters. We didn’t wait around until we were getting beat so bad it’s embarrassing before we started to play.”
