Reisnour is Ms. LBWCC

LBW Community College’s 2017 Ms. LBWCC is Tori Jordan Reisnour of Opp, daughter of Robyn Hamilton Reisnour.

1119-ms-lbwcc-2017-tori-reisnourShe is a freshman majoring in business at LBWCC and is a member of the Saints Softball team and the Student Government Association. She graduated from Opp High School in 2015.

Following the completion of an associate degree at LBW, she plans to transfer to Duke University to pursue a master of business administration, specializing in international business and marketing.

In the talent competition, she sang “I’d Rather be Blind” by Etta James.

Kaydra Michelle Strength of Highland Home, daughter of Misty Dean and Jake Strength, was named first runner-up and winner of the interview portion of the competition.

She is a freshman pursuing an associate in science degree before transferring to the University of South Alabama to pursue a degree in nursing. She is a 2016 graduate of Highland Home School, where she still enjoys volunteering.

She serves as a LBWCC Ambassador, and volunteers for different events with the Crenshaw County Chamber of Commerce.

In the talent competition, she performed a comical monologue, “Some of My Many Talents.”

Named as second runner-up was Ansley Nicole Shipp of Red Level, daughter of John and Donna Shipp. She is a sophomore majoring in business administration and a 2013 graduate of Red Level High School. After completing an associate degree at LBWCC, she plans to transfer to Troy University to pursue a degree in marketing.

She is a member of the LBWCC Drama Club, and enjoys helping with the Covington County Miracle League, Relay for Life, and Cancer Freeze. She also volunteered with the Louisiana flood victims, and is director of the Preston Grove Fire Relief.

For her talent, Shipp performed a clarinet solo with piano accompaniment to “Lostboy” by Ruth B.

Angel Isaac of Greenville, daughter of Jeff and Kim Isaac and Bridget and Eddie Cook, was named “Miss Congeniality” by the other contestants.

She is a sophomore majoring in business and is a 2015 graduate of Greenville High School. After completing an associate degree at LBWCC, her plans are to attend Kennesaw State University in Georgia to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration and pursue employment with Google.

 

While attending LBW, Isaac has been a member of the Theatre Club, Christian Student Ministries, Student Government Association, and Saints Angels.

She gave an a cappella vocal performance of “L-O-V-E” by Frank Sinatra for the talent competition.

Madison Tillman of Lapine, daughter of Raleigh and Melanie Tillman, was named the talent winner with the song “Reflections” from the Disney movie “Mulan.”

A 2015 graduate of Highland Home High School, she is a sophomore at LBW seeking an associate degree in pre-veterinarian studies, and plans to transfer to Auburn University.

While at LBW, she performs as a member of the Ensemble, and enjoys participating in the Student Government Association and Student Support Services.
